About Seth
Seth is a Wilderness Medicine Guru. He has built a career around his 15+ years experience with improvisational out-of-hospital emergency medical care and is an expert in wilderness and austere medicine. Seth has spent his entire life in and around the water; he has nearly a decade of competitive swimming under his belt and co-authored the chapter on submersion injuries and drowning in Auerbach’s Wilderness Medicine, a topic he lectures on throughout the U.S.
Seth was awarded the Technical Excellence Award in 2000 while serving NC’s Orange Technical Rescue Team and recognized as a “Hero of Emergency Medicine” by the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2008.
