The culmination of another years worth of planing and scheduling is about to come to fruition. This year a new crop of Jacksonville guards will be joining the team and making the long trek to South America, including American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps’ Board of Directors President Maurice Rudolph. Maurice, Justin, and Sr. Hermoza will have an audience with a Peruvian congressman as well as several representatives from the upper tiers of the Peruvian police force, fire fighting, emergency services, Cruz Roja, the board of tourism and many others.

Also exciting is the addition of Cleve Coony to the team. Cleve is a video journalist and documentarist who will be recording the trip and has the distinction of having won the annual ARCVLSC ocean marathon more times than any other member. He is joined by fellow lifeguards James Lentz, Glen Znamirowski, Jerry and Jason Rodriguez, and Steven Lafond.
